We are in need of a Body Project Manager to oversee the activities related to the product line throughout its entire lifecycle.
Your role will involve ensuring that all specified objectives concerning design, engineering, timelines, costs, and quality are met within your technical domain. You will hold corporate accountability for the platform content and will initiate corrective measures when targets within your scope are at risk.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting the Chief Technical Engineer in defining technical and product specifications within your area and ensuring their achievement. Being accountable for achieving targets related to direct costs, investments, and supplier development expenses within your technical domain, with support from Finance SET members. Overseeing and managing the timing of all components. Making decisions regarding target deviations within your authority, escalating issues to the Product Line when necessary, and preparing analyses to support decision-making. Ensuring that defined targets for body components are met. Guaranteeing product conformity in accordance with the Compliance Risk Assessment.About You
Degree in Engineering. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Automotive sector. Background in technical roles (focused on body systems) and/or project management. Technical expertise in body systems (BIW, exteriors, interiors) and product development. Proficient in time and cost management. Familiarity with development and production processes. Strong project management skills. Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus but not mandatory. Self-assured and adaptable. Ability to manage modifications, re-planning, and coordination with other units. Strong teamwork skills, including experience in international teams. Empathy and active listening abilities. Effective interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.What We Offer
