We are currently seeking a Body Project Manager to oversee our product line activities throughout the entire product lifecycle.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all design, engineering, deadlines, cost, and quality targets are met within your technical domain. You will hold corporate accountability for the platform content and will be expected to implement corrective measures if any targets are at risk.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting the Chief Technical Engineer in defining technical and product specifications within your area of expertise and ensuring their fulfillment. Being accountable for achieving targets related to direct costs, investments, and supplier development expenses within your technical domain, with support from Finance SET members. Overseeing and managing the timing of all components. Making decisions regarding target deviations within your authority, escalating issues to the Product Line when necessary, and preparing analyses to support decision-making. Ensuring that body component targets are met. Guaranteeing product conformity in accordance with the Compliance Risk Assessment.About You
Degree in Engineering. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive industry. Background in technical roles focused on body systems and/or project management. Technical expertise in body systems (BIW, exteriors, interiors) and product development. Proficient in time and cost management. Familiarity with development and production processes. Strong project management skills. Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus but not mandatory. Self-assured and adaptable. Capable of managing modifications, re-planning, and coordination with other teams. Strong teamwork skills, including experience in international settings. Empathetic with excellent active listening abilities. Effective interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.What We Offer
