Center of Excellence Manager

At TE Connectivity, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Center of Excellence Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring that our molding departments are technically and technologically positioned to be a source of competitive advantage and are capable of delivering long-term performance needed by the business.
Key Responsibilities- Optimize and standardize our molding processes in AUT EMEA, including molds, processes, and methods.
- Monitor, control, and report on running projects, customizing them to meet individual plant needs.
- Develop new concepts for molding processes and production in collaboration with the Center of Excellence, Manufacturing Engineering, and Tool & Die.
- Develop and roll out best practices (SDP) and CoE projects across all AUT EMEA locations.
- Support production capacity balancing and develop processes with increased flexibility.
- Drive initiatives for plant productivity increase, automation, material saving, and cost reduction.
- Instruct department leaders and plant managers in aligning molding activities with management goals and expectations.
- Participate in EMEA meetings and workshops to ensure knowledge sharing and actuality.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in various Engineering or Process Development assignments.
- 5+ years of experience in molding - Automotive industry preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum 2+ years of management experience in a production environment.
- Strong background in technical concepts and machines/tools/production.
- Base knowledge of Operational Excellence and Lean tools (Six Sigma degree is preferable).
- Fluent in English.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, team player attitude.
- Mobility and willingness to travel (up to 60% of the time).
