Job Title: System Technician

As a System Technician at Kardex, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support for our products, applications, and service solutions to our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth operation of our systems and solutions, and to provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on Kardex systems and solutions.
  • Complete jobs in a timely manner, adhering to set quality standards.
  • Provide customer training on operator, health and safety, and maintenance procedures.
  • Generate leads and identify new business opportunities.
  • Manage administrative tasks, including reporting and personal spare parts inventory.
  • Provide remote diagnostics and on-call service to customers.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose PLC and software issues.
  • Advise customers on Kardex Remstar products and services.
Requirements:
  • Good general standard of education.
  • Mechanic, electronic, or electrical degree or training.
  • CompTIA A+ or similar experience.
  • Experience in field customer service.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic methods.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Technical, mechanical, or electronic experience.
  • Experience with interfacing and integrating mechatronic machines into software systems.
  • Experience in industrial communication.
  • Experience with onsite health and safety.
