Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and coordinate the technical design aspects during project bidding and development.
- Draft and prepare specifications for mechanical system requirements.
- Evaluate and analyze technical proposals from suppliers.
- Review the technical descriptions of systems.
- Verify drawings and documents (Electrical, Mechanical, etc.) for installation and integration.
- Assess FEM analysis reports.
- Develop and verify performance testing specifications.
- Provide support during system type testing.
- Assist in on-board integration testing.
- Conduct design reviews with clients and suppliers.
Required Skills and Expertise
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schematics, as well as bolted and riveted connections.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems is essential.
- Familiarity with standard office software (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Experience with mechanical design software (AutoCAD, Creo, Catia, etc.) and the IBM DOORS requirements management tool.
- Understanding of engineering processes and railway operations.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, and multitasking international environment.
- Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team on various projects.
- Willingness to travel for short-term national and international assignments.

Educational Background
