About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at STERIS. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing all phases of project development from inception to completion, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Development: Develop and execute project development plans according to STERIS procedures and standards, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a cross-functional core team in the development of solutions to meet business, customer, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other engineering functions, Quality, Regulatory, and Marketing to coordinate project activities and deliverables.
  • Resource Management: Identify and manage resources needed to successfully complete project activities.
  • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with project development.
  • Performance Metrics: Identify and track key performance metrics for reporting and data-driven decision-making.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously look for opportunities to improve project development processes and work with the project team to optimize implementation.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering General or Engineering Management.
  • Experience: Proven experience in the design and development of systems, leading development projects, and demonstrating leadership and technical expertise within a development organization.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of effort and skill set required to define, implement, and verify applications, as well as experience in the tasks and technical risks in the development of applications.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to support multiple projects.
  • Language: Strong knowledge of the English Language (minimum B2).
