Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Specialist to join our team at Sephora. As a key member of our General Management & Real Estate department, you will play a critical role in managing our construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct preliminary technical due diligence for construction projects, including reviewing commercial layouts and working with consultants to ensure all necessary documents and permits are in place.
  • Assist in establishing preliminary construction costs and developing a target budget for approval.
  • Manage the tender process for contractors, controlling construction documents and performing design reviews to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with the legal department and procurement manager to prepare and execute construction contracts, ensuring a clear understanding of terms and conditions.
  • Prepare and maintain project and cost control documents, including cost analysis vs. budget reports, and interface with the finance department for necessary orders and payments.
  • Ensure timely submission of required documents for necessary permits and prepare accurate and timely construction progress schedules.
  • Manage the close-out of projects, including completion of punch lists, final payments, and submission of all close-out documents.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail environment
  • Excellent relationship-building skills for internal and external stakeholders
  • Fluent level of English is mandatory
