At Alstom, we're looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a Fleet & Depot Planner. In this role, you'll be responsible for planning, scheduling, and prioritizing Depot Maintenance activities. Your goal will be to ensure that all maintenance activities are completed on time and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule Depot Maintenance activities to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor and report on the status of Depot Maintenance activities to ensure that they are completed on time.
  • Communicate with Production teams to ensure that they are aware of scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Interface with maintenance team leaders, retrofit teams, engineering teams, and external company teams to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities on all trains in the workshop according to fixed time slots during planning meetings.
  • Monitor and maintain a general and updated overview of crucial spare parts availability.
  • Stay informed about workshop infrastructure status, including special tools required for maintenance activities.
  • Check production team workload to ensure optimal saturation and efficiency.
  • Manage any problems that arise during planning meetings.
  • Verify compliance with time slots planned for all ordinary maintenance train cycles.
  • Verify compliance with scheduled departure and arrival times in Nola Depot and report any delays.
  • Translate production and commercial service issues into working orders.
  • Ensure that all updated planning information is disseminated throughout the workshop in real-time.
  • Attend daily planning meetings and update whiteboards with scheduled maintenance slots.
  • Bring special requests from project teams into default planning items and schedule them using the SAP system.
  • Report all cumulative delays and their root causes, analyzing them to improve future performance.
  • Interface with the Supply Chain team to ensure that necessary spare parts are available.
  • Use Indus evaluation KPIs to optimize production workload on shift according to scheduled planning.
  • Attend extraordinary planning meetings to address contingencies.
  • Report special activities status using dedicated figures, graphs, and Gantt charts.
  • Create and release notifications and service orders related to corrective and preventive activities.
  • Update information equipment necessary for communication within the Depot.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree or professional qualifications in technical areas.
  • English mandatory, French preferred.
  • Experience in process supervision and management.
  • Work experience in a process/production environment.
  • Railway and train system knowledge is preferred.
  • Maintenance process knowledge is required.
  • Good IT skills, especially SAP (CS/PM modules). Microsoft Office is required.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to make decisions, sense of urgency, and set priorities.
  • Ability to communicate with transparency and deliver clear messages.
