Job Title: Facilities Project Manager EMEA

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Project Manager to join our team at KION Group. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for managing corporate facility projects, assets, and properties in the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Manage multiple corporate facility projects, assets, and properties, including planning, establishing, controlling, and maintaining facility assets and services.
  • Space Planning: Conduct site inspections to assess and document physical conditions of owned and leased properties, and manage space planning activities, including establishing requirements, identification, acquisition or termination, and project management of relocation services.
  • Construction Management: Oversee construction project management of facility additions, relocations & renovations, effectively managing development, planning, and execution of scope, quality, schedules, and cost.
  • Maintenance and Operations: Provide reliable availability and preventive maintenance of facility mechanical systems, power systems, building automation control systems, life/safety systems, and manage contracted services for owned and leased properties.
  • Environmental and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes and requirements for facility operation, including environmental & other regulatory permitting, reporting, and records.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage annual operating expense and capital budgets, monthly variance reporting and forecasting, and project cost control.
  • Lease Administration: Assist with new lease or termination negotiations, perform lease administration, tenant improvements, coordination, and construction.
About You:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Project Management, Engineering, Construction, or related field.
  • Experience: 7-10 years of relevant work experience in facilities project management.
  • Certifications: Facilities Management (IFMA) certification & Boiler Operator/Engineer License (not mandatory but beneficial).
  • Skills: Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with proven expertise in both Facility Management & Property Management.
  • Language: Full working proficiency in English.
