Job Title: Piping Engineer

We are recruiting a Piping Engineer for our Power Plant Construction Project near Venice.

About the Role:

  • Require a thorough knowledge of construction methods and standards and principles.
  • Provide liaison and support for the Piping and Mechanical Construction activities of the superintendents and construction supervisors.
  • Monitor craft employees and sub-contractors work and material for compliance with drawings and specification.
  • Under general supervision, evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making adaptations and modifications.
  • Assist the Superintendent by providing input to identify key success factors, timing of procurement deliverables, and establishing common work breakdown structures.
  • Provide technical and administrative direction to field layout and surveying personnel.
  • Review drawings and material status for upcoming work to identify potential problems.
  • Review prior to issuance of drawings/blueprints and other engineering documents and specification to field forces.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering according to Discipline (Mechanical).
  • Experience in Hydrotest, test packs preparation, execution of basic and detailed engineer in the Oil&Gas Upstream, Gas Treating and Power Plant.
