Job Title: Sea Logistics Operational Care Expert

Are you ready to take on a challenging role in the logistics industry? We are seeking a highly motivated Sea Logistics Operational Care Expert - Import to join our team in Milan.

Your Role:

The Sea Logistics Operational Care Team Expert is part of a team in the Operational Care Center responsible for coordinating transport activities.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Create and complete shipment details in our internal data management system, including carrier, vessel, item description, and PO allocation.
  • Coordinate with customs agents, hauliers, and carriers to ensure smooth transportation.
  • Prepare files for consolidation containers, including Master and Single files.
  • Handle shipments in accordance with shipping instructions, national and international regulations, compliance, rate, and routing information.
  • Generate transport documents and invoices.
  • Process passive invoice acknowledgments.
  • Maximize profits by selecting the best suppliers.
  • Report any issues, disputes, or discrepancies to the direct operational report.
  • Monitor the operational performance of carriers and suppliers.
  • Escalate or create awareness if performance and commitments are not met.
  • Resolve rate discrepancies and work with Customer Care teams on account implementation.
  • Support Customer Care teams in resolving customer complaints.
Your Skills and Experience:
  • Three years of experience in similar roles, specifically import.
  • High level of attention to detail, communication, organizational skills, and decision-making abilities.
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
  • Fluent in English.
