Job Summary

S3 Academy Sales, Support and Services:

We're looking for talented individuals to join our team as part of our S3 Academy program. This 90-day training program is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the storage industry, NetApp products and solutions, and transferable soft skills. Participants will gain hands-on experience with our robust training program based in Raleigh Durham, NC, USA, and will have the opportunity to work with graduate peers from around the world.

After completing the training program, participants will return to Italy to start the on-the-job portion of their training. This hybrid position will require a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with managing lab and demo systems used during post-sales activities
  • Maintain and improve lab environments, set up new environments, and control stock of parts and demo systems
  • Support the design, implementation, and verification of systems/subsystems
  • Provide support in development and testing activities of other engineers
  • Participate in professional services projects and learn how to deploy and administer NetApp storage solutions
Requirements
  • No previous work experience necessary, but a general understanding of computer architecture, data structures, and standard programming practices is required
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Python
  • Basic knowledge in Linux/Unix systems and IP networking
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as a Code tools such as Terraform
  • Ability to work well within a team and independently
  • Positive, flexible attitude, creative and analytical approach to problem-solving
Education

Recent completion (within the past 4 years) of a university degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Physics (Bachelor's or Master's) or similar
