Scientific Project Coordinator

Join Istituto Italiano Di Tecnologia as a Scientific Project Coordinator and contribute to the development of human-centered Science and Technology to tackle societal challenges. Our Genoa headquarters are interconnected with other centers around Italy and the US, promoting excellence in basic and applied research.
As a Junior Project Manager - Innovation, you will play a key role in planning, managing, and implementing activities for the Robotics and AI for Socio-economic Empowerment Project. You will support the technology transfer center coordinator and Principal Investigators in coordinating the consortium, controlling the working plan, and monitoring its implementation.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the development of activities and coordinating the consortium
Controlling the overall working plan and monitoring its implementation
Designing and implementing operative plans and tasks
Monitoring the scientific, technical, and financial advancement of the project
Supervising and managing communication and dissemination activities
Managing relations with consortium members and stakeholders
Collecting, reviewing, and submitting technical and financial reports
Requirements:
Master or bachelor degree in scientific disciplines or economics, management, or a similar field
Experience in economic-financial planning for projects
Experience in strategy consulting
Cooperative approach with stakeholders
Spirit of innovation and creativity
Good command of spoken and written English
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment
Additional skills:
MBA or Master in Innovation
Good competence in information search
Strong communication skills
Strong problem-solving attitude
High motivation to learn
Good at time and priority management
