Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to join our team at Linesight. As a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the logistics and planning for all subcontractors, working directly with the Construction Manager and Subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that subcontractors perform their scope of work in compliance with contract documents.
  • Manage all subcontractor logistics planning and field installation details for a large complex data centre project.
  • Work with a PMC structure, client side, to manage the overall Project from design to full commissioning/operation.
  • Coordinate approved design documents and ensure installed work in the field complies with such documents.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the contract documents and produce phasing plans, logistics systems interrelationships, construction sequencing, and align with the project schedule.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Logistics Manager within large Construction projects.
  • Experience building 5+ ground up nuclear/energy or other technically intensive facilities.
  • Deep understanding of logistics planning and coordinating subcontractors for nuclear projects.
  • Ability to build positive and productive relationships with the owner's team as well as key vendor and subcontractors.
  • Ability to move fast and quickly make solid strategic and planning decisions on the go.
  • Superior engineering working knowledge of plans, engineering drawings, specifications, and schematics associated with the logistics trades.
  • Computer literate, with significant experience with Excel, Word, and other computer-based tools.
