Production Planner

We are seeking a skilled Production Planner to join our team at The Sherwin-Williams Company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule production orders on multiple lines, taking into account product mix, demand forecast, customer orders, and inventory levels.
  • Plan and schedule production within the relevant time period to ensure compliance with OTMIS/OTIF.
  • Review and adjust production schedules based on customer orders, production problems, material needs, and other factors.
  • Determine optimal supply of products based on potential demand.
  • Analyze reports on plant operations, resource needs, efficiency, and customer service to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with production operations, sales, customer service, and other departments to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Provide updates on production schedules and plant performance in production meetings.
  • Assist with introducing, modifying, or discontinuing products, including maintaining SKU numbers, inventory, and order levels.
Requirements:
  • Two to three years of experience in scheduling, supply chain, or operations.
  • Knowledge of fundamental scheduling and distribution principles and practices.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop reports.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
  • Strong communication and assertiveness skills.
  • Proficiency in Italian and English.
