About the Role

We are seeking an experienced project management professional to join our Global Central Reliability Maintenance Engineering team at Amazon Italia Services Srl. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end project lifecycle for new launches as well as new equipment installations in legacy sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, planning, risk mitigation, and successful deployment.
  • End-to-end ownership for large-scale engineering projects, including planning, design, installation, commissioning, and qualification, launch support.
  • Assess and communicate project status, drive escalations on potential risks and delays across multiple teams.
  • Collaborate with field engineering, RME, design, construction, and operations teams to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones, and ensure effective communication and coordination across all stakeholders.
  • Develop business continuity and risk mitigation plans with site RME teams to allow a seamless handover from construction or field engineering.
About the Team

The ELM team oversees asset transfer (MHE, base build, emerging tech) to RME teams, working closely with project delivery teams across customer fulfillment, Amazon transportation systems, Amazon logistics, and Amazon grocery logistics. Supporting regions include North America, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa, Australia, and engaging for standardization with India/Japan.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience in engineering project management, with a strong track record of successfully delivering complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and make data-driven decisions in autonomy.
  • Proven record of expert communication skills & experience in managing multiple projects at once.
