We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Oerlikon. As a key member of our global organization, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support and maintenance services to our customers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Installation and commissioning of Oerlikon products, including thermal spray coating systems and peripheral devices
- Preventive maintenance and calibration of Oerlikon equipment and its subcomponents
- Hard and software upgrades of Oerlikon equipment and its subcomponents
- Training of internal and external operators and maintenance personnel
- Independent preparation for all Field Service activities
- Support of TCS (Technical Customer Support) for Hot-Line Phone support
- Proceeding of customer-oriented Field Service intervention documentation as Service Report
- Calibration and Preventive maintenance Report
- Obligation to inform the customers, management and the internal quality department concerning equipment related safety and security issues
- Electrotechnical or mechanical education
- Good mechanical and pneumatical know-how
- Good know-how about PC's hard and Software set-up and Network
- PLC programming and software set-up a plus
- Technician / Engineer Education a plus
- Intensive traveling to Oerlikon customers is required
- Good business English speaking is a must
- Good knowledge of PC-work (MS-Office)
- Open and strong personality with positive and supportive mindset and very good communication skills
- Team oriented behaviour
