About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Operations Manager to join our team in Italy. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the network of subcontracted service centers, on-site solutions, and outstores/hubs in Italy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the start-up and ramp-up of new plants, on-site solutions, and outstores.
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of projects such as informational technology and engineering, as well as continuous improvement (lean) to support improvement programs in capacity, productivity & cost, quality, and service.
  • Lead, contribute, or support Regional or European SC projects.
  • Negotiate tariffs with subcontractors, with support from Senior Manager and Cost optimization.
  • Cost control and budget monitoring in connection with Cost optimization.
  • Analysis and recommendations for cost optimization in terms of cost drivers and entitlement standards.
  • Manage stock variances through stock counts and analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Management, Logistics, or Technical Engineering.
  • 5-7 years of management experience in Subcontractor management/Site management.
  • Lead and achieve results in pan-European, multi-site environments.
  • Negotiations with service providers.
  • Strong experience in Lean.
  • Fluent/native Italian and English.
