Role Overview
Sandoz, a leader in the global medicines industry, seeks an experienced Supply Chain Excellence Leader to drive operational excellence and guarantee the availability of finished goods.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a high-performing planning team, providing them with the resources and support needed to achieve objectives.
- Develop the team's competencies through training and coaching, ensuring they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
- Create a collaborative and results-oriented work environment that fosters innovation and growth.
- Develop and manage the Supply review monthly, taking into consideration all information gathered from suppliers across ICO/ESO/ICO-ESO.
- Integrate the results into the S&BP process, facilitating decision-making and driving business outcomes.
- Highlight risks and opportunities in the demand plan from a Supply perspective, and facilitate decisions on implementation.
- Secure reliable supply, including proactive communication to Business Unit and Customer Service regarding availability dates and supply constraints.
- Drive process optimization initiatives by involving both internal and external stakeholders in terms of cost efficiency and quality where relevant.
- Responsible for stock allocation where shortage occurs, execution of excess/short-date sales in conjunction with the relevant sales teams, and working closely with Finance on provisions to minimize write-offs.
- Develop the forward-looking inventory projection, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Proactively communicate and manage stock outs, proposing and implementing corrective actions taking into account the priority level of products.
- Monitor sales/sales trends daily, ensuring inventory coverage adherence, identifying slow movers, delivery time variation, etc., and take corrective actions where necessary.
- Cross-collaborate with stakeholders (KAM, BPA, Customer Service) to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer experience.
