Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lab Analyst to join our Supply Chain team at Sealed Air Corporation. As a Lab Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the production and quality control activities of our site through laboratory analysis of materials, in development and on customer complaints, interacting regularly with Supply Chain, Application, Research and Development, and Sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform laboratory analysis using various instruments: Microscopy, FTIR-ATR, and other analytical techniques.
  • Analyze optical properties (Haze, gloss, clarity) and thermal properties (DSC, enthalpy).
  • Perform physical/mechanical tests with a dynamometer and calibrate instruments.
  • Support production and process departments in resolving quality issues.
  • Interact with the application team and sales to resolve customer quality issues and introduce new materials.
  • Contribute to the production of data and analysis to support the process team in creating test methods and specific emissions.
  • Support CQE, local and external, in managing complaints.
  • Collaborate with the quality group of sites in EMEA for laboratory analysis.

Requirements

  • Perito Chimico or equivalent degree.
  • Medium-advanced level of English language knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft and SAP applications.
