Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solar and Wind Site Manager to join our team at oilandgas. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising the operation of assigned solar/wind plants in Italy, ensuring compliance with HSE requirements, maintenance plans, and guidelines.

Main Responsibilities
  1. HSE Compliance: Ensure adherence to local HSE legislation and company procedures in the assigned plant.
  2. Promote HSE Initiatives: Contribute to identifying and registering non-conformities, promote corrective and preventive actions, and implement H&S best practices.
  3. Main Service Providers: Approve maintenance plans with main contractors, authorize maintenance activities, and coordinate suppliers to ensure contractual obligations are met.
  4. Local Operation: Coordinate local plant operations, operate MV/HV substations, and communicate with EDPR's dispatching center and TSO.
  5. Reports: Ensure timely and accurate reporting from maintenance contractors, record relevant information, and perform data analysis to support decision-making.
  6. Cooperation with Remote Operation and Dispatch Centre: Ensure proper coordination with EDPR's remote operation and dispatch center, transmit weekly maintenance plans, and update maintenance programs.
  7. TSO/DSO Interaction: Collaborate with the Asset Manager to fulfill TSO/DSO procedures and ensure proper contact with local TSO representatives.
  8. Contractors Management: Ensure proper conservation and optimal conditions of the plants, resolve malfunctions, and identify suitable service providers.
  9. Operation and Maintenance: Ensure fulfillment of scheduled activities, track progress, and address any underperformance.
  10. Budget Definition and Follow-up: Define expected OPEX for O&M activities, track and report unplanned costs to the Asset Manager.
  11. Management of Emergencies: Be the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders in case of accidents or emergencies.
  12. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to fostering Operational Excellence, promote continuous improvement processes, and adopt a mindset suitable for process improvement.
  13. Company Policy and Legal Compliance: Acknowledge and understand EDPR's policies, directives, and procedures, and ensure compliance by contractors.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Industrial technical high school diploma; a degree in Engineering would be an advantage.
  2. Proficiency in Italian, English, and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.
  3. Minimum 3 years of experience in the wind/solar industry with a similar role; experience with CMMS tools (SAP PM) is considered an advantage.
Skills and Competencies

  3. Basics of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
