Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Development Manager to join our team in Rome. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing wind and solar projects in Italy from early stage through investment decision and handover to the construction and operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assigned projects according to agreed timeline, budget, and quality, providing timely and transparent communication to all involved functions.
  • Manage the permitting process, including preparation and review of documentation for EIA and Single Permit, and representation of interests during technical debates.
  • Build and cultivate relationships with land parcel owners to establish and maintain a positive link with local communities.
  • Improve project competitiveness by challenging project assumptions to reduce LCoE and/or improve LRoE, in cooperation with the Investment Manager.
  • Manage activities related to assigned projects, including site pre-selection, environmental constraints analysis, wind potential assessment, and land leases agreements.

Requirements:

  • Significant work experience in solar and/or wind development in Italy.
  • Degree in engineering, business administration, economics, law, or comparable studies.
  • Proven knowledge of the Italian Renewables market and competence in scouting and consenting processes.
  • Ability to collaborate globally in cross-functional teams and effectively communicate internally and externally.
  • Fluent in Italian and English, with other languages a plus.
