Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Safety Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in analyzing satellite orbits for potential safety risks and have a strong understanding of complex aerospace systems. This role involves conducting routine screenings, interfacing with satellite constellation operators, and providing subject matter expertise on space environment and flight hazards.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze satellite orbits to identify potential safety risks and develop recommendations for mitigation.">
• Collaborate with senior scientists, engineers, and partner organizations to share knowledge and best practices.">
• Interface with multiple satellite constellation operators to provide hazard information and ensure safe operations.">
• Act as a subject matter expert on outer space environment and spaceflight hazards for the organization.">
• Develop and maintain advanced knowledge of complex aerospace systems and troubleshoot basic failures and anomalies.">
• Submit system reports on performance and deficiency.">
• Work with advanced analysts and system tier support to create temporary procedures in support of ongoing operations.">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• US Citizenship required.">
• Top Secret/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph required.">
• Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Radio Frequency Engineering, Physics, or similar STEM degree.">
• 6+ years of prior relevant experience in Orbital Analyst, Space Domain Awareness, Radio Frequency Interference, Laser Analysis, or similar in lieu of degree.">

Benefits and Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $135,000 per year, depending on relevant experience, location, and other factors. Benefits include:
