About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Finance Manager to join our client's team. The successful candidate will support the Commercial Italy and Iberia teams in managing and optimizing financial initiatives related to commercial activities. This includes:

  • Coordinating and leading the annual budget for volumes and sales
  • Gathering information from all business functions, assessing financial needs, and setting financial goals and constraints aligned with Group guidelines
  • Actively participating in defining pricing and optimal commercial strategies
  • Supervising Accounting operations on Sales, ensuring proper bookings in accordance with accounting principles
  • Managing month-end and budget reviews at local level
  • Preparing monthly financial reconciliation and variance analyses vs planning/LY, communicating explanations to management (local/central) with recommended actions
  • Consolidating end-to-end P&L for Italy and Iberia and categories and being the POC for all questions from CCOs and relevant categories
  • Performing profitability analyses and drafting recommendations to improve margins
  • Performing ad-hoc business cases and analyses as needed
  • Harmonizing processes across countries in the areas of profitability analysis, sales bridges, overall financial bridges

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or Engineering
  • 5-10 years of professional experience in Finance Business Partnership preferably within an international Commercial Teams
  • Experience in Food will be considered a plus
  • Solid background on Financial Planning and Analysis, Pricing Strategy Setting
  • Ability to influence Senior Managers through a confident and knowledgeable approach
  • Analytical skills and Business Acumen
  • Result-orientation driven
  • Problem solving
  • English and Italian fluent
