Job Summary:

Altorecruit is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing sales with existing customers and targeting new prospects for our plastics distribution business.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sales Management: Manage sales in the territory to reach sales, gross profit, account number penetration targets, and product goals. Plan weekly sales itinerary to realize overall sales strategy.
  2. Account Services: Service existing accounts by coordinating division's sale and delivery of products in a fashion that meets the customer needs. This involves extensive interaction with the customer, Sales Management, CSRs, Product Line Management, and Credit. Resolve any problems that occur before, during, or after the sale.
  3. Lead Generation: Identify leads for new accounts and work with Sales Management to develop sales strategy.
  4. Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitive situations, including pricing, payment terms, shipment terms, and types of materials handled by competitors. Communicate competitive situations to CM and other relevant parties.
  5. Accountabilities: Fulfill responsible care sales activities safely, including personal and vehicular safety and product stewardship.
  6. Professional Development: Develop and maintain a professional presence in the territory by expanding product knowledge, enhancing sales management skills, and attending local professional organizations.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  2. Fluent Polish and English skills. Other languages are valued.
  3. Minimum of 5 years of plastics distribution sales or related industry experience.
  4. Well-versed in industrial commodity chemicals and capable of calling on all types and sizes of accounts.
  5. Proven qualifications in self-motivation, enthusiasm, time management skills, and responsiveness.
  6. Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills, along with the ability to work independently.
  7. Proficient computer skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are required.
  8. Experience with SAP and/or is a plus.
  9. Ability to negotiate and build effective relationships.
