About the Role

HHLA PLT Italy S.r.l. is seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Specialist to join our Expansion Project Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in planning, specifying, and integrating IT systems and infrastructure for our future maritime terminal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Specify functional, technical, and other requirements for the PLT expansion IT system landscape
  • Specify interface and integration requirements for the PLT expansion IT system landscape
  • Specify process landscapes, process flows, use cases, including variations and exceptions in the context of the project
  • Assist in IT project planning, test planning, integration tests, and go-live of the different IT systems
  • Act as part of the IT project management team
  • Comply with all safety and security rules and regulations
  • Support the department and business unit where required
  • Follow the corporate authority matrix, contract policies compliance guidelines
  • Actively report improvement opportunities to direct report
Requirements
  • Good English (Italian and/or German are a plus)
  • Experience in IT management/IT development and specification (3+ years)
  • Experience/understanding of Port and Terminal processes and IT systems
  • Ability to work in an international team of port-related IT experts
  • Good communicator and able to maintain a growing role
  • Process & logic driven mentality, deep understanding of IT methodologies
  • Degree in IT or related
