We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team at Amazon Italia Logistica S.R.L. - B96. As a key member of our Procurement Operations team, you will be responsible for leading and delivering strategic procurement projects for our internal business partners.
Key Responsibilities- Manage complex procurement projects with high spends, risks, and time constraints, analyzing and making recommendations to the business.
- Build effective stakeholder relationships, ensuring a high service level in terms of analyzing the scope of work, negotiating with vendors, and providing accurate metrics and reporting.
- Lead the procurement operations process, from needs detection and definition to contracting and implementation follow-up, using Coupa (ERP) and other tools.
- Create and execute contractual agreements, driving contract compliance from vendors and delivering contracts from A to Z.
- Execute and support national and EU-wide procurement projects and initiatives, proactively collaborating with other Global Procurement Teams.
- Manage and ensure governance on supplier performance, ensuring a high service level in terms of lead time, quality, and maintenance.
- Act as a subject matter expert for a local category, identifying and seizing savings opportunities, performing spend analysis, and supporting a strategy definition for the country network.
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand the needs of the business and embed Amazon's sustainability goals and processes.
- Meet targeted key performance indicators to deliver value for the business, such as savings, financial metrics, sustainability, and maintaining compliance.
The Site Procurement Operations team works collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to provide procurement support and solutions. We are a dynamic and fast-paced team that values innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree with procurement or supply chain focus or significant procurement experience.
- Relevant experience in a procurement environment, with negotiation and contract management skills.
- Proficient computer literacy in MS office suite and experience with ERP systems.
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English and in local language.
