We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Technician to join our team in Milan, Italy. As a key member of our People's team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and control all health and safety matters in accordance with Italian law.
- Inspect jobs and workplaces, and develop risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Design and propose measures to correct risks and improve working conditions.
- Develop and maintain work instructions and procedures.
- Conduct investigations into occupational accidents and diseases.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety best practices.
- Manage health surveillance programs and coordinate activities with external health and safety providers.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements in other countries or working centers.
- Higher education and postgraduate degree in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing startup environment and collaborate with different levels of management.
- Strong organizational, proactive, and creative skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Fluency in English and Italian (written and spoken).
