We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Procurement Specialist to join our team at Beiersdorf. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for driving strategic sourcing initiatives and managing procurement processes for our local markets.
Key Responsibilities- Represent procurement in relevant small/medium business projects, providing sourcing support and dedicated attention as needed.
- Initiate and coordinate RFQ/RFIs, negotiate conditions, and select suppliers within your area of responsibility and according to established responsibilities and value limits.
- Manage complaints and develop solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate demands with internal demand owners, identifying opportunities to add value to the business through bundling and other initiatives.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as savings, payment terms, sustainability, and internal compliance.
- Process local country materials and services, ensuring compliance with procurement and corporate guidelines.
- Maintain and assure the quality of relevant master data for supported negotiation and contracting processes.
- Contribute to transactional productivity by identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing solutions.
- Manage eCatalogues and automated order channels to increase automation and efficiency.
- Track and handle order confirmations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or Engineering (Master's degree a plus).
- Minimum 4 years' experience in procurement, preferably in FMCG and managing marketing and indirect categories.
- Fluent Italian and English language skills, both written and verbal.
- SAP/SAP4HANA knowledge, with experience in SAP Ariba and SRM systems a plus.
- High proficiency in Office automation tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
