Inventory Control and Logistics Engineer

Job Objective:
To oversee and take responsibility for the inventory management operations within the logistics facility, ensuring stock accuracy, integrity, and effective storage solutions to enhance productivity while maintaining precise records. This role encompasses SAP system maintenance and alignment with European support teams for a high-value inventory operation. The position entails full accountability for periodic inventory counts, ensuring alignment with corporate expectations, and conducting thorough root cause analyses and preventive measures when stock integrity deviates from key performance indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain stock accuracy and integrity in accordance with corporate standards. Monitor and manage gross and net stock adjustments. Report stocktake and cycle count results to the management team. Collaborate with central financial control to ensure EU reporting aligns with local standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for inventory processes in collaboration with management and other departments. Keep the management team informed of trends and practices affecting inventory records. Ensure compliance with logistics processes and implement corrective actions as necessary. Conduct daily evaluations of slotting efficiency. Oversee the ongoing development, optimization, and major reviews of warehouse configurations, recommending changes as needed. Work with management to assess inbound and outbound demands to meet productivity and customer slotting requirements. Collaborate with the management team to identify improvements that enhance productivity and quality. Ensure accuracy and maintenance of SAP system records and functionality, aligning with operational demands. Coordinate projects and facilitate communication within the logistics team. Foster a positive, proactive, team-oriented culture through regular and effective communication with staff. Inspire and guide the team to achieve high performance standards, providing coaching and identifying development needs. Keep the team updated on relevant company communications and departmental priorities to promote teamwork and understanding of business objectives. Instill company values in team members through reinforcement of desired behaviors both individually and collectively. Ensure adherence to company health and safety standards and established processes.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
