Job Summary

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Soffass SpA. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will be responsible for studying and implementing the best technical solutions to meet our corporate needs concerning paper mill and plants' infrastructure, in accordance with our group investments plan.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Analyze weaknesses, technical innovations, and investment suggestions, also through presence in the productive units, and suggest the best solutions to improve our infrastructure.
  2. Develop technical projects and arrange the necessary documentation to ensure seamless implementation.
  3. Test economically and technically the offers received by suppliers and arrange the information for the purchase decision, ensuring the best value for our company.
  4. Collaborate with the purchase office to negotiate with suppliers, if necessary, to secure the best deals.
  5. Organize and supervise the projects' carrying out and start-up, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruptions.
  6. Provide technical support and training to the productive units, also in the post-start-up phase, to ensure smooth operations.
  7. Work closely with the Building Officer for interventions on buildings and infrastructures, ensuring compliance with our corporate standards.
  8. Stay updated on technological innovation, also through relationships with suppliers, to ensure we remain at the forefront of industry developments.
  9. Promote a safety-bound corporate culture, ensuring the well-being of our employees and the integrity of our operations.
  10. Apply the Corporate principles and values, upholding our commitment to excellence and integrity.
Requirements
  1. Master's Degree in Electrical/Electrotechnical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  3. Good English knowledge, with the ability to communicate effectively with international partners.
  4. Skilled user of Autocad, with experience in designing and developing technical projects.
  5. Availability to travel abroad, with a willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  7. Teamwork attitude, with a commitment to collaboration and mutual support.
Desired Candidate Profile
  1. Education: Master's Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electrotechnical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Field of Study: Engineering.
