Position Overview

The role involves overseeing the entire process of meetings and events inquiries, from initial contact to final execution. Key responsibilities include:

  • Handling inquiries via phone and email, crafting proposals, and guiding events through planning and logistics until they are handed over to operations.
  • Negotiating rates for meetings and events with clients, ensuring alignment with the hotel's revenue goals.
  • Engaging with clients after events to gather feedback and foster repeat business opportunities.
  • Promoting all global properties within the Hoxton and Ennismore portfolio to maximize revenue across corporate segments.
  • Updating the Opera Sales system with new inquiries to maintain accurate records.
  • Preparing and distributing function sheets weekly and presenting them during operations meetings.
  • Conducting property tours for prospective clients.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with clients to encourage repeat business, tracking trends and events to support this goal.
  • Coordinating activities related to booked meetings and events with various departments to ensure client expectations are met through effective communication.
  • Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of Hoxton products and brands to enhance upselling opportunities.
  • Managing administrative tasks diligently, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurately maintained.
  • Assisting the sales team with marketing activities, client hospitality events, presentations, and promotional initiatives as needed.
