Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the provision of market data services, encompassing data feeds and distribution agreements.
  • Collaborate with IT and Operations teams to ensure the precision, promptness, and completeness of transaction, position, and market data.
  • Conduct both prospective and retrospective assessments of compliance with established rules, national and European legislation, and relevant regulations.
  • Monitor, alert, and prevent market manipulations in accordance with compliance policies and defined procedures.
  • Facilitate effective incident management by tracking the resolution of issues linked to incidents, conducting postmortems, and managing market status communications.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Thomson Reuters) and oversee member account details, ensuring comprehensive descriptive data and pricing information about assets, while managing securities setup and vendor contracts.
  • Perform ongoing monitoring of compliance with rules and applicable regulations, identifying exceptions and unusual trading patterns, managing alerts, and investigating suspicious market activities.
  • Act as a liaison with authorities regarding STOR, AML, and special market situations.
  • Engage in real-time and retrospective monitoring of liquidity provision obligations.
  • Develop and maintain algorithms and tools for pattern detection and market management, including automated market control actions.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new members and ensure the smooth operation of core business processes by proactively identifying issues, implementing resolutions, and enhancing post-trade processes.
Your Qualifications
  • In-depth knowledge of trading venue rule books, trading system parameters, and technical mechanisms.
  • Thorough understanding of applicable European regulations (MiFIR, MiFID, MAR) and their application to trading venues.
  • Extensive experience in internal audit or similar corporate functions, such as risk or compliance.
  • Strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management abilities.
