**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer to join our team in Italy. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of analytical instruments and associated electrical equipment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide technical support to customers and internal teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.
  • Install and commission analytical equipment and associated electrical equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Maintain and service analytical equipment and associated electrical equipment, adhering to AMETEK's high standards and guidelines.
  • Offer remote support to customers through team viewer and email, resolving technical issues promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to clarify technical queries and provide support.
  • Set up tests in the laboratory using demo units, prepare reports, and ensure accurate data analysis.
  • Ensure adherence to AMETEK's guidelines and standards, promoting a culture of excellence and quality.
  • Refer follow-up work requirements to the appropriate staff within AMETEK, facilitating necessary action and recommendations to clients.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times, reflecting positively on AMETEK's image and values.
  • Attend training courses and meetings as required by AMETEK, enhancing your skills and knowledge.
  • Provide support and cooperation to management and colleagues, contributing to the success of the company.

**Requirements:**

  • Technical degree or technical high school diploma.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Italy and EMEA for training purposes.
  • Knowledge in measurement and control technology, ideally with PLC controls.
  • Fluent in English and Italian.
  • Preferred experience of engaging with customers in a pressured environment.
  • Computer literate and experience with MS Office, Excel.
