We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our team at the iCub Tech facility in Genoa, Italy. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for designing electronic boards for sensors, motor control, and battery management, as well as developing firmware for verification and validation.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop electronic boards for sensors, motor control, and battery management
- Develop firmware for verification and validation
- Debug and fix issues related to EMC and EMI of complex mechatronic systems
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in electronics engineering, electrical engineering, or related fields
- Wide electronics design experience across a range of fields, including analogue, digital/FPGA, power supplies, PCB design, high-speed digital interfaces, EMC/EMI
- Experience with embedded software development and microcontrollers
- Experience in co-design approaches for engineering
- ECAD design tools, e.g. Mentor Graphics or similar
- Good communication skills and ability to cooperate
- Creative, proactive, and collaborative attitude
- Proficient in English, written and oral
- Experience with robot middleware systems such as ROS
- Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering and control
- Experience with MCAD software
- Basic knowledge of mathematics, physics, and robotics foundations
- Experience with embedded software development
- Experience with simulation tools
