Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Convertible Bonds Trader to join our dynamic trading team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of convertible bonds and associated markets, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of successful trading strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide liquidity to the ISP Group institutional clients via voice and dedicated electronic trading platforms.
  • Execute trades in convertible bonds, ensuring optimal pricing and adherence to risk management guidelines.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, news, and economic data to inform trading decisions.
  • Develop and implement trading strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and achieve financial targets.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with dedicated customers, brokers, dealers, and other market participants.
  • Continuously assess portfolio performance and adjust strategies as needed to manage risk and improve returns.
  • Collaborate with Equity Capital Markets department, research analysts, and other team members to gather insights and support trading activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in trading convertible bonds and related equity instruments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Physics, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., MBA, CFA, CQS) is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of fixed income and equity markets, as well as derivative products.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, quantitative analysis, and trading platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with team members and external partners.
