Sys-Dat S.P.A. is a leading provider of IT solutions for companies in Italy, with over 45 years of experience in the industry. We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our team in Modena.

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented System Administrator to design and manage on-premise and cloud IT infrastructures, perform installation and support activities on data centers, and provide technical support to account managers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical disciplines, and at least 4 years of experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and manage on-premise and cloud IT infrastructures, following ITIL guidelines
  • Perform installation and support activities on on-premise and cloud data centers, adhering to ISO 9000 and ISO 27000 regulations
  • Provide technical support to account managers, including pre-sales activities
  • Work on-call services on H24 type contracts, on a rotating basis
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree/specialty in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical/scientific disciplines
  • At least 4 years of experience in the field
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Hyper-V, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Office365, Microsoft SQL Server, Veeam, and VMware
  • High problem-solving skills, initiative, willingness to travel, and work overtime
  • Knowledge of English language
  • Knowledge of concepts of Back-up, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery in hyperconverged architectures
  • Previous experience in enterprise environments with complex computing architectures
  • Certifications from software and/or hardware manufacturers (Microsoft, VMware, Dell, Lenovo, Veeam, etc.)
