Fincantieri NexTech is seeking a skilled Data Architect to enhance our global operations by playing a pivotal role in the design, development, and execution of our data frameworks.

The Data Architect will be tasked with comprehending organizational needs, converting them into technical guidelines, and architecting data solutions that fulfill those needs.

KEY FUNCTIONS & DUTIES
  • Analyze organizational needs and convert them into technical guidelines.
  • Architect and deploy data solutions that align with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data solutions are in sync with business requirements.
  • Establish and uphold data standards and governance policies.
  • Safeguard the security and integrity of data assets.
  • Remain informed on the latest advancements in data architecture and related technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in data architecture or a similar domain.
  • Proficiency in data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration techniques.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, and Kafka.
  • Experience with data visualization platforms.
  • Strong programming capabilities in Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Professional English proficiency required.
