We are seeking a skilled Fine Dining Server to join our team at The St. Regis Venice, a luxurious resort in the heart of Italy. As a Fine Dining Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring their dining experience is nothing short of unforgettable.

Job Summary

The Fine Dining Server will be responsible for serving food and beverages to guests, answering questions on menu selections, and communicating with the kitchen regarding menu questions and product availability. You will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness of work areas, inspecting tableware before use, and monitoring table settings to ensure courses are cleared and tables are properly crumbed.

Responsibilities

  • Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring timely and courteous service
  • Answer questions on menu selections and communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions and product availability
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including inspecting tableware before use and monitoring table settings
  • Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, and dietary needs to the kitchen
  • Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience as a server or in a related role. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure. Additionally, you must be able to lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
