Assistant Buyer

The Opportunity

We are seeking an Assistant Buyer to join our Buying team in Brugherio, Italy. As an Assistant Buyer, you will provide creative and administrative support to the Buyer in developing product ranges to meet sales, margin, and stock targets within a specific product/category area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and update vendor information, including company profiles, logos, positioning, contact persons, and guest/expert details.
  • Communicate product purchase characteristics to the order process.
  • Manage samples used in the Buying team from reception to return.
  • Provide information on guest availability and inform vendors of changes to the Product Availability List (PAL).
  • Perform data entry activities related to products on the internal program.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role or in a related field.
  • Trend awareness and passion for product development.
  • Good knowledge of Excel.
  • Fluent English language skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive and enthusiastic approach to work.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility and teamwork.
