Position Overview

The Sales Effectiveness Manager will be instrumental in supporting the commercial teams across international markets with all aspects related to the Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. This includes analytics, reporting, dashboard creation, training, troubleshooting, and enhancing usability. The role requires close collaboration with the IT department to ensure effective CRM implementation and continuous improvements throughout the region.

Furthermore, the Sales Effectiveness Manager will assist Business Unit and Regional leaders in designing and defining sales performance incentive plans to align the commercial organization with overarching business objectives.

In this capacity, the individual will play a strategic role in fostering a culture of ongoing improvement, aiming for optimal performance within our commercial teams to drive growth and profitability.

Acting as a business partner, the manager will collaborate with leaders across various regions and departments to design, plan, and execute commercial processes, projects, and initiatives that maximize business impact.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Force Effectiveness:


• Cultivate strong collaborative relationships to identify regional and business unit challenges and opportunities; provide strategic guidance, tools, and best practices to enhance the efficiency and impact of sales resources.


• Establish and promote the use of sales analytics and performance metrics to inform decision-making and improve regional performance.


• Ensure the regular delivery of accessible sales data to track progress and inform strategy. Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) within the region.

Customer Relationship Management System (SFDC):


• Provide clear direction on CRM strategy for the region. Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, and IT teams regarding CRM design, enhancements, rollout, and maintenance.


• Ensure data integrity and cohesion when integrating multiple data sources from legacy systems prior to system alignment.


• Work alongside the Marketing Team to optimize CRM usage for customer profiling, aligning with key campaigns and financial objectives.


• Partner with sales leaders to guarantee that CRM data is accurate, reliable, and current, enabling effective decision-making and performance management.


• Promote effective CRM adoption among commercial teams. Design and deliver training and refresher programs to enhance the sales team's skills in utilizing CRM features such as customer segmentation, sales planning, and opportunity management.

Sales Incentives Planning:


• Collaborate with local leadership to design, implement, and refine effective sales incentive programs that motivate and reward the sales team.


• Monitor, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness of these programs. Work closely with finance, HR, and sales leadership to adjust incentives as necessary to ensure alignment with business goals.

Ideal Qualifications

Education:


• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business or Data Analytics.


• A Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or a related field is advantageous.

Languages:


• Fluent in English.


• Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

Experience & Professional Requirements:


• Proven experience in the healthcare sector.


• Demonstrated experience in sales operations, salesforce effectiveness, or a related role.


• Familiarity with CRM tools and IT systems.


• Experience working with international markets and global teams; managing or collaborating with direct sales organizations and indirect distribution networks.


• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights. Experience with data analytics tools such as Tableau, IBM Cognos, PowerBI, Qlik, and advanced Excel is desirable.


• A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a proven track record of implementing sales process improvements and driving performance enhancements.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and objectives.


• Sales experience is a plus.


• Willingness to travel moderately to European and international destinations is required.
