Core Focus of the Role:

  • Support Aptuit's global business development and operational teams with various legal commercial responsibilities, including the drafting, negotiation, and approval of diverse commercial contracts.
  • Provide legal assistance to operational teams in Italy as necessary.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and negotiate contracts related to Aptuit's research and development initiatives.
  • Develop and evaluate contract templates and oversee contracts through the internal approval workflow.
  • Deliver solutions to routine inquiries from internal stakeholders.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary contact for contract-related inquiries within Aptuit.
  • Participate in and contribute to special projects as required.

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law or Economics with a minimum of 5 years of experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and execution within the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and precision in contractual documentation.
  • Self-driven, resourceful, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage complex tasks under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain organization.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive and structured approach.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills for interactions with internal and external parties.
  • Strong networking capabilities and adeptness at decision-making in uncertain situations.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing workloads, support colleagues during peak periods, and lead process enhancements.
  • Proficient in managing conflicts arising from process changes.
