Job Overview

Vertiv is seeking a skilled Thermal Architect to join our team in EMEA. As a key member of the Application Engineering Team and the Strategic KAs Sales Team, you will be responsible for leading the Thermal Management products, including Chiller, Fan Walls, and liquid cooling solutions, for major customers within the assigned segment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Sales: Develop and maintain a network of consultants to support key accounts in EMEA, focusing on Chillers, CRAC/CRAH, CDU, Pumped Refrigeration, and In Row Cooling.
  • FATs and Other Duties: Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and other duties as required.
  • Drive Growth: Drive growth in Thermal sales and profitability for both Products and Services, focusing on Vertiv end-to-end Thermal solutions.
  • Customer Management: Manage a diverse portfolio of customers, including top EMEA clients, and build relationships with consultants and customers.
  • Pipeline Generation: Secure growth in pipeline generation and maintain a healthy balanced pipeline.
  • Commercial Positioning: Collaborate with the account director to manage commercial positioning and actively participate in bids.
Requirements
  • Education: Engineering background or equivalent education with proven field experience.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in Thermal Management products and installation, especially for Datacenter or equivalent. Additional value in liquid cooling experience.
  • Language Skills: Fluent English written and verbal required.
  • IT Skills: Excellent IT skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial acumen and customer/sales orientation.
  • Networking: Ability to build strong networks internally within the Vertiv community.
