Job Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Civil Structural Engineer to join our team in Atyrau, Kazakhstan. The successful candidate will be responsible for comprehending the scope of civil and structural works, developing drawings and design calculations, and resolving design issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scope comprehension for all civil and structural works provided in the tender document
  • Developing drawings and design calculations related to civil and structural works
  • Reviewing FEED packages and advising on optimized and cost-effective design solutions
  • Engineering interactions to obtain data inputs for civil and structural detailed design
  • Providing technical advice and recommendations to the project team
  • Identifying specialized subcontractor services and preparing scope of works
  • Aggregating FEED bulletins and evaluation report recommendations
  • Effective utilization of engineering resources to produce high-quality deliverables
  • Reviewing quantities extracted from drawings and advising on optimization
  • Hand-on experience in civil and structural software
  • Document substantiation for HAZOP identified items
  • Code check for deliverables and review of drawings prepared by designers

Requirements

  • Minimum B.E./B. Tech. in Civil Engineering with at least 10 years of relevant design and engineering experience in civil and structural for Oil & Gas sector
  • Proficient in interpretation of contracts and scope comprehension
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English
  • Previous work experience in CIS countries is desirable
  • Good self-discipline and ability to meet demanding schedule requirements
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy in written work
  • Good knowledge of Excel, MS Word, and Windows Operating Systems
