About the Role

We are currently seeking an IT Director for Global Network Infrastructure to join our Ammega Group team in coordination with the Group and Regional Infrastructure team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic direction for Data Communications, Data Center, group Network, and supporting Infrastructure environment architectural input and design.
  • Create a global WAN roadmap and oversee its implementation.
  • Provide recommendations to the Head of Infrastructure for infrastructure enhancement.
  • Identify and rectify poor or obsolete systems or practices.
  • Manage Data Center managed services and on-premise Data center operations.
  • Proactively manage networks (LAN, WAN, WiFi, Mobile) in corporate and local offices, ensuring suitable performance, security, and contingency levels.
  • Oversee network monitoring, reporting, and bandwidth optimization.

Shared Accountabilities:

  • Network & Data Center Security collaboration with the IT Security Owner.

Key Stakeholders and Interfaces:

  • Supply and Demand Managers.
  • Regional ICT Infrastructure and Networking team members.
  • IT Security Owner.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Proven experience designing, building, operating, and troubleshooting large-scale IT datacenter & Network systems.
  • Line management experience with teams of networking specialists and specialist third parties.
  • Data Center managed service management expertise.
  • Strong experience with Network architecture and design.
  • Structured cabling experience (fibre and copper).
  • Exposure to server network connectivity, teaming, TCP/IP networking, switching, and routing.
  • Expertise in VLANs, HP, and Cisco network switches.
  • Knowledge of firewall technologies, ideally Fortinet, Cisco, and Palo Alto.
  • Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Change Control Processes, and Network Performance Monitoring Tools experience.
  • Strong technical documentation writing and maintenance skills.
  • Awareness of Information Security issues, threats, and countermeasures.
  • Desirable experience with transition to cloud services.

An estimated salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $180,000 per annum, based on location and industry standards. If you have the right combination of skills and experience, we look forward to hearing from you.
