About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager Consultant to join our team at Creative Artists Agency. As a Project Manager Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the project's daily activities, overseeing the planning, design, and construction phases, and ensuring the successful delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an engagement-led culture that prioritizes health, safety, and well-being standards.
  • Collaborate with the project team to create a comprehensive Client Project Requirements document.
  • Support project management functions, including organization, budgeting, programming, and implementation.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure efficient project implementation and coordination.
  • Review cost estimates and contribute to the production of project budget reports.
  • Manage the procurement of professional consultants, contractors, and Client Direct Work packages.
  • Monitor construction progress and potential scope changes with respect to the schedule.
  • Support the Client in fulfilling commercial partnership deals.
  • Maintain necessary documentation for all contracts, insurance certificates, and warranties.
  • Manage project and design risk registers.
  • Coordinate materials testing processes and ensure compliance with contract documents.
  • Assist project architect, engineering consultants, and sub-contractors in resolving on-site risks, issues, and design conflicts.
  • Coordinate and manage project close-out activities, including final acceptance of equipment, testing, and commissioning.
  • Work with the project team to ensure the Contractor is implementing and maintaining site logistics and safety procedures.
  • Manage the safe delivery and installation of all Owner's CDW.
  • Monitor design issues and assist in swift resolution.
  • Track open requests for information (RFIs), non-conformance registers, and submittals.
  • Assist in monitoring and tracking project issues to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Review and understand change order requests and communicate changes with key client representatives.
  • Coordinate and undertake construction site tours, as requested by the Client.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the construction or a related services industry.
  • Bachelor's degree (ideally in construction, engineering, or a related field) or equivalent work experience.
  • Familiarity with the WBS, construction change orders, and like documents, budget formats, and architectural/engineering plans.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, project program, and project agreements.
  • Professional attitude with the ability to interact effectively with clients, contractors, and project management team.
  • Familiarity with building permit approval processes and/or experience gaining municipal planning and other external stakeholder approvals in Italy an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to problem solve and master new concepts in a short period of time.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project and Excel required.
  • Fluent in Italian and English a necessity.
