Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Train Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for working on research and innovation projects, eliciting customer requirements, and converting them into engineering requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in research and innovation projects to drive technological advancements in the rail industry.
- Elicit customer requirements and convert them into engineering requirements to ensure seamless product development.
- Break down system requirements and support the alignment of sub-system/component requirements with respective product lines.
- Collaborate with product line engineers to meet ERJU goals and participate in product line design reviews.
- Advocate for moving the technology readiness level on product development towards field trials/pilots/deployment.
- Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS, Polarian, etc.
- Working knowledge of system engineering toolsets, including FMEA, Trade-off analysis, and Solution tree.
- Understanding of mobility technologies, including Perception, Remote Driving, and Automated Driving.
- Knowledge of train signaling systems, including ETCS, CBTC, and TCMS.
- Master's degree in Engineering, with a focus on Electrical, Electronics, Automation, Instrumentation, Railway, Automotive, or Aerospace.
- Experience working with customers/end-product users and translating their needs into engineering requirements.
- Location: Piossasco (Italy), Tours or Paris area (France).
