Group Financial Reporting Manager

Manager of Group Consolidation and Financial Reporting (all genders)

Full-time and permanent position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate group financial results and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS standards.
  • Develop quarterly and annual reporting packages, adhering to both US and German regulatory requirements.
  • Enhance and maintain processes to ensure the integrity and quality of financial reporting.
  • Provide support to subsidiaries regarding all accounting and reporting inquiries.
  • Assist in the ongoing improvement of automation and standardization of the financial closing process.
  • Maintain a robust control environment within the Global Finance department.

Qualifications:

  • A higher education degree with a specialization in accounting or a related field.
  • Several years of pertinent experience in group accounting within a capital market-focused organization, with a strong understanding of IFRS.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • A results-oriented team player capable of working independently.
  • Ability to perform under pressure while adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Fluency in English is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with a Big 4 accounting firm is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with SAP and Onestream is preferred.
  • Background in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.
  • Proficiency in German is a plus.
