Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the Istituto Italiano Di Tecnologia (IIT) in Genova, Italy. The successful candidate will work in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary group to develop and evaluate a prototype of a colloidal cybernetic system.

Responsibilities

  • Fabrication and characterization of a liquid state pressure sensor
  • Integration of the energy, sensing, and computing subsystems into a single device
  • Extreme environment testing and characterization of the cross-talk between subsystems

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in any field of engineering or physics
  • Documented experience and strong skills in LabView, manual setting up of experiments
  • Autonomy and responsible behavior in a lab
  • Ability to properly report, organize, and publish research data
  • Good command in spoken and written English
