Job Description:

This role is in the UPS Healthcare Italy division, which operates in the pharmaceutical logistics and distribution market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze warehouse layouts to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of current and future logistical processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify and implement cost-reduction and process-improvement opportunities to enhance the company's bottom line.
  • Conduct logistics studies and analyses to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Support new business implementations and create work instructions and Master Operating Plans (MOP) to ensure seamless execution.
  • Develop and maintain operation dynamic dashboards and daily operating reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and exposure to warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Previous work experience or study in logistics fields, preferably with a focus on industrial engineering or economics.
  • Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
